Saskatchewan is awash in a rich visual arts and handcraft tradition. Of course, we are especially proud of our own Permanent Collection and the exhibitions we have mounted from it. You will find easy access to the Collection and Exhibitions from the links menu here.

But our Collection only tells part of the story of the visual arts in Saskatchewan. We encourage you to visit the sites of the galleries, art museums, and artist-run centres that are supported by the Arts Board. We are most pleased to launch this portion of our site by showcasing Biennial SCAM - an exhibition by the consortium Small City Art Museums [on the prairies]. This is an on-line exhibition designed and mounted by the Arts Board under the direction of and in collaboration with SCAM members. It complements the 2003 exhibition jointly curated by these institutions and which will be toured to their venues over the next 12 months.
