The Saskatchewan Foundation for the Arts Artists Awards Program provides financial assistance to Saskatchewan artists to create or develop new work or work in progress.

Four awards of up to $2,500 each are available as follows:

• Award for an emerging professional literary artist who is working on an adult or children’s fiction book, or an art or photography book
• Award for an emerging professional female artist who is working in the visual arts
• Award for an emerging professional artist who is working in the visual arts
• Award for an emerging or established professional artist who is a resident of Regina and is working in music, theatre or the visual arts.

The deadline for applications is November 15, 2011. The application package is available here.
