Premier’s Centennial Arts Scholarship

The Premier’s Centennial Arts Scholarship provides financial assistance to Saskatchewan undergraduate students in their development as professional artists. At least one scholarship will be provided to an applicant studying arts administration or cultural leadership.

Studies may be full- or part-time in any fine arts discipline and must be undertaken at an accredited post secondary institution or in a recognized fine arts training program.

One or more of the scholarships may be funded through the 2005 Canada Games Building Dreams and Champions Legacy Program: Saskatchewan Arts Bursaries, which is administered by the Saskatchewan Arts Board

Application Closing Date

  • May 15 
     

Note: If the application closing date falls on a weekend or statutory holiday, the closing date is moved to the next working day.

Eligible Applicants

  • Students who are Saskatchewan residents, Canadian citizens or permanent residents and are undertaking undergraduate full- or part-time studies at an accredited post-secondary institution or recognized arts training program for a career as a professional artist, arts administrator or cultural leader.

Maximum Funding

  • $2,500 for full-time studies
  • $1,000 for part-time studies

Notification

  • Applicants are informed of scholarship decisions no later than 90 days after the deadline.
  • A list of scholarship recipients will be posted below.
