Saskatchewan Arts Board

The Arts Board has established a Touring Advisory Panel to help shape Culture on the Go and to ensure that it complements existing touring programs. With objectives and expectations confirmed, a select number of applications will be chosen to test possibilities for touring/outreach models in a range of disciplines.

NOTE

The Culture on the Go program is a partnership between the Saskatchewan Arts Board and the Ministry of Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport (the Ministry). The agreement governing this program requires that it be evaluated. The Arts Board and the Ministry have recently agreed that the Ministry will lead the evaluation process and will contract an external consultant for this purpose. The Arts Board will be represented on the project committees that will oversee the evaluation. The purpose of the evaluation is to assess how well the objectives of the program were met as outlined in the agreement and to advise on the future delivery of the program. Innova Learning (Maureen Matthew, 306-584-9198) is conducting the evaluation, which will be complete by March 31, 2012.
