Independent Artists Program

The Independent Artists program supports Saskatchewan artists to pursue their creative work and careers by funding creative, professional development or research projects, and the production and/or presentation of artistic works.

Application Closing Dates

  • March 15
  • October 1


Note: If the application closing date falls on a weekend or statutory holiday, the closing date is moved to the next working day. 

Eligibile Applicants

  • Emerging or established professional artists who are Saskatchewan residents and Canadian citizens or permanent residents.

Maximum Funding

  • Maximum funding levels vary

Notification

  • Applicants are informed of grant decisions no later than 90 days after the deadline.
  • A list of grant recipients will be posted below.
