Persephone Theatre has the cure for your winter blues.  The Tony Award winning spy comedy The 39 Steps is coming to town!  The fast paced, who-dun-it comedy, adapted from the novel by John Buchan and the movie by Alfred Hitchcock, follows the adventures of the intrepid Richard Hannay, played to comic perfection by Matthew Edison, last seen on Persephone’s stage in last season’s Lawrence and Holloman.  He is joined by Carson Nattrass (from Catalyst Theatre’s smash hit Nevermore), Naomi Wright and local favourite James O’Shea: a stellar cast that plays over 100 characters!

With an incredible run of over  1,000 performances on Broadway and over 2,000 performances on London’s West End (still running since 2006!), The 39 Steps has entertained countless theatre lovers on two continents. Saskatoon audiences now have the opportunity to hop onto the comedy train.
