NAPThe National Artists Program (NAP) is one of the most challenging and exciting opportunities for emerging artists on the national stage. This unique collaborative and professional development program is designed to bring together a select group of talent from across the country. The program offers a unique opportunity for young artists between the ages of 16 and 22 years to practice their chosen craft under the mentorship of leading Canadian artists in a collaborative and cross-disciplinary setting with other young artists from across Canada.

Each province and territory selects three artists based on artistic excellence and ability to collaborate. The successful applicants will be members of their provincial or territorial teams.

The Saskatchewan Arts Board, on behalf of the Saskatchewan Games Council, is pleased to coordinate the selection of three emerging artists from the province to participate in the National Artists Program during the 2011 Canada Games in Halifax, Nova Scotia, from February 11 to 27, 2011.

If you have questions, please contact the program consultant well in advance of the deadline to discuss the application and program requirements. Note:  Applications must be delivered or postmarked on or before the deadline date.
