Can you send me a scholarship application, and when are the deadlines?

Sure. Just give our Grants Coordinator or Administrative Coordinators a call and we will make sure you get it as soon as possible. Of course, you can also download the forms right from this website. The deadline for this program is May 15.

Do I need to meet with a consultant?

No - that's not absolutely necessary,
although there is a consultant available to assist you if you have questions.

Can I apply for more th
an one scholarship on any given deadline?

No – you
may apply for only one Premier's Centennial Arts Scholarship in any given year.

What training programs are eligible for this scholarship?

Bachelor of fine arts programs are eligible, as are training programs with recognized arts institutions such as the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. If you are unsure if your program qualifies, please contact the Arts and Learning Consultant.

Are master's degree programs eligible?

Not at the current time. With limited funds available, we thought it best to focus on undergraduate training. This may change in the future.

What can I use to provide proof of Saskatchewan residency?

We will accept a valid Saskatchewan
driver's license or hospitalization card, or other evidence of a permanent residence in the province.

When will I receive my
notification?

Within 90 days of the grant deadline.

What about income tax?

The Arts Board issues T4As to
all scholarship recipients.

What if I am awarded a scholarship and then am unable to attend the program?

Major changes in project activity must not be undertaken without discussion with the appropriate consultant, and may result in forfeiture of the
scholarship.
