Electrical Field at Saskatoon EX

stoonex1Using recycled wires and telephone cables, artist-in-residence Twyla Exner is working with visitors to the 2012 Saskatoon EX to construct a field of creative blossoms. Referencing the Prairie fields that surround us in Saskatchewan, Electrical Fieldexplores the idea of cultivation through each individual contribution.

Editing Indigenous Manuscripts Master Class

Editing Indigenous Manuscripts: A Publishing Master Class is a two-day master class for Canadian publishers and editors working with Indigenous authors and their manuscripts. It will take place in Saskatoon on June 25-27, 2015. Registration is limited.

Thelma Pepper Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Internationally acclaimed Saskatoon photographer Thelma Pepper is the recipient of the 2014 Lieutenant Governor's Arts Award for Lifetime Achievement. Presented by the Saskatchewan Arts Board, the awards celebrate the contributions and achievements of individuals, groups and organizations in the arts.
